I just wanted to give some praise to a young man who deserves it.
I was not at the Sunset banquet this past weekend, but I heard that Joey Bird won sportsman of the year for the JR. II class and he turned around and gave it to Harley Kellogg. This is a true display of sportsmanship. Shawn and Mary (Joey's mom) should be very proud of a great young man that they have raised. I just wanted to make a point of this.

He did not get the sportsman award. It was the kid that drives the 75 kart in the junior II class. Giving the award to another very deserving driver only proves that he is a true sportsman and knows what being a sportsman is all about.
Sorry, I was given some bad information. It was Corey McGuire that won the sportsman of the year in Jr. II and then gave it to Harley Kellogg. So a big congrats to Corey for the great show of sportsmanship. I know that Kenny and Theresa are very proud of Corey.
